In this world we live in there is much unrest, sadness, fear and anguish. Leader after leader who is elected promises to do the best he or she knows to make their country better. Centuries have come and gone and leaders have come and gone. Still our world is filled with unrest, sadness, fear and anguish.
We can take heart, however, because the God of the Universe, the only true and living God made provisions for the one True Ruler to come into the world the first time to save. When He returns He won't be a baby born in Bethlehem lowly in a manger. No, when He returns, He will return in all of His Kingly glory. The Scriptures say it so beautifully about Him, about the Son of God. Listen to Isaiah 9:6 as the prophet explains it:
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
"Glory to God in the Highest and on Earth, peace, good will toward men."
