Embrace different this year!
We all have things that we want or need to change. We want things to be new and better in our lives but we also struggle to accept the idea 'that has to be different.' The idea of something being new is fun and exciting. However, something that is different is often seen as challenging or scary. Different is uncertain and uncomfortable but it is also necessary for our personal and spiritual growth.
Christ wants to make us new and better but that requires making us different.
This year, rather than looking for a newer or better version of what we already have, let’s embrace the idea of allowing Christ to make us and our lives different !
St. John 21:6 "And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes."
