Blessings upon everyone!
This year has gone by so fast, next week we celebrate Thanksgiving Day and next month we celebrate Christmas, the Birth of Christ. As we approach the New Year I am excited about what God is going to do in the life of Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in 2024. I am also excited about what God is going to do in your life. I pray that the Holidays are a time of celebrations with your family and friends. On Thanksgiving Day there will be a lot of cooking, fellowshipping with family and friends, watching parades and football games but I encourage you to take a few minutes to reflect back over your life and your year and praise God for the wonderful blessings He has bestowed upon you and your family.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:18 it says, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerningyou.”
As we prepare for Christmas, please remember that Christmas is the celebration the Best Gift that God gave the world and that is His Son Jesus Christ. As you honor others with gifts please don’t forget to honor God for giving you His Best.
